Brozelin Syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride, Guaifenesin, Racementhol and Salbutamol as active ingredients. It works by thinning the chest mucus; relaxing the muscles in the walls of the small airways in the lungs; reducing the phlegm in the air passages; providing relief from cough and sore throat. Brozelin Syrup is used for Asthma, Chest congestion, Respiratory diseases, Lung disorder, Cough, Sore throat and other conditions.
How to use
Adult dose of Brozelin: 5 ml to be taken 3–4 times daily.
Children: 2.5–5 ml, 3–4 times daily or as directed by the physician.
Precautions
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to sympathomimetics, cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism. There are no absolute contra-indications to Ambroxol but in patients with gastric ulceration relative caution should be observed.
Precautions/Warnings: It is advisable to avoid use during the first trimester of pregnancy except on the direction of a physician. Do not take any drug after the expiry date.
