Risek 40 mg capsules contain omeprazole which is used in the treatment of acidity(heart burn), peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux). Omeparazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Risek 40 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time preferably one hour before meals or one hour after meals.
Precautions
Risek may be unsafe for use in pregnancy but probably safe for use during lactation. However it should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease.
